Women Build brings together strong, dedicated women (men too!) to be a force for good in our community and a unique time for powerful women to connect and do what we do well – solve problems.
Volunteers come together from all walks of life to build stronger, safer communities and provides the opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their communities.
Families in our community struggle daily with making the choice between a safe place to live, or food, clothing and healthcare. Women Build recruits, educates, and inspires women to build and advocate for simple, decent, and affordable housing.
Start a Women Build team with friends and colleagues
Together, you’ll raise funds to help a local family realize its dream of an affordable home. Then, swing a hammer alongside one of our families on your dedicated team build day.
No experience is necessary. Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals, and also alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved, and improves the community that you share.
It’s a great way to involve your friends and family of all ages in crucial work with a lasting impact. Women helping women sends a positive and powerful message.
