Position Title: Construction Site Supervisor
Basic Function: Site Supervisor will work with and oversee volunteers for a construction project from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Build houses along with volunteers and contractors
- Supervise various groups of volunteers ranging in skill and age on 1 or more construction sites.
- Determines materials needed and makes sure they are on site when needed
- Home construction knowledge and experience with basic hand tools
- Valid Florida driver’s license & clean driving record.
Position Title: Volunteer & Faith Engagement
Basic Function: Volunteer recruitment and coordination, placement in appropriate roles. Promote, recruit, and retain volunteers. Ensure that volunteers have a positive, safe and productive experience. Build and maintain faith community partnerships.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 years relevant experience with a non-profit organization
- Comfortable with public speaking opportunities
- Computer programs including databases, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Access and the Internet
- Must have clean driving record and Driver’s license
Position Title: ReStore Manager, Full Time
Basic Function: Generate revenue, meet budgets and maintain profitability objectives in support of Highlands County Habitat for Humanity mission through increasing donations, management, and marketing of ReStore products. Create positive visibility and face of Habitat in the local community. Consistent, safe and positive development of associates and volunteers in outstanding service to customers, donors, volunteers and others. Understand and communicate to all associate positions key performance metrics for all ReStore operations and how they relate/contribute to positive customer experience and high quality operations. Monitor systems for daily cash transactions and deposits.
Qualifications:
- Experience in supervising and leading employees and volunteers
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with groups, committees and individuals
- Experienced in public speaking
- Ability to have a flexible schedule for evening and weekends
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Webmail)
- Understanding of, and commitment to, superior client service (internally and externally)
- 3+ years in a retail operation and management, or related experience required
Position Title: Administrative Assistant, Full Time
Basic Function: Manage key performance metrics for all ReStore operations and how they relate/contribute to positive customer experience and high quality operations. Monitor systems for daily cash transactions and deposits.
- Expert in Microsoft Office
- Flexible, honest, creative, trustworthy, and respectful
- Ability to practice confidentiality in regards to homeowner, volunteer, and employee relations
- Problem solving, decision making, & effective verbal and listening communication skills
Position Title: ReStore Cashier, Full Time
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Excellent Customer Service: Friendly and helpful attitude
- Good math skills – ability to manage change
- Proficient with cash register and credit card machine
- Strong communication skills
- Light lifting and ability to stand on feet for extended period of time
